Suggestion for expanding tag color options

Hi DragApp,
I’ve been using your platform for a while now, and it’s really helped me stay on top of my projects. However, I’ve noticed that the current selection of tag colors feels a bit limited, especially when juggling lots of different tasks. I think adding more color options, or a gradient color picker, would make it easier to visually separate different tags. This simple change would make managing tasks quicker and more intuitive, especially for those of us who rely on color-coding to stay organized.
I believe this update could really enhance the experience for many users, making project boards clearer and more efficient. More variety in tag colors would allow for a smoother workflow, helping us focus on the work rather than deciphering our boards. I’d love to see this feature added and think it could be a small but impactful improvement to an already great tool.
Thanks for considering this suggestion! I’m excited to see how the platform continues to grow.

I agree! The new light pastel color codes for tasks in the boards are too light; they kind of defeat the purpose of color coding. The bright, bold colors worked better.

I notice the colour of tags and cards has changed to a muted pastel tone, which I do not prefer, as tags are not nearly as clear amongst all the other elements on my screen, as they were when the colours were simply bold. So I would also like the option of setting colours, such as a revert to the "classic" pallette option.

Mike Crofton-Atkins thanks for the feedback. We did hear similar feedback from other users and are considering alternative solutions for this.
