Reports
[v17.6] Live reports + reports improvements 🔥
🧩 Live Reports
With Live Reports, you can instantly view and download a real-time snapshot of all cards across your boards. No more digging or waiting, just one click to see what’s happening right now.
Here's what you can achieve in a few clicks:
- See all cards currently active on each board.
- Monitor team workload and status at a glance.
- Export real-time data for reporting or backups.

💡 More accurate assignment tracking
Assignment tracking just got better:
- When a card is assigned to one user, then reassigned to another, the “Users > Assigned” report now shows a separate row for each assignee, helping you track ownership history more effectively.
- Assignments made through automations are now fully reflected in assignment reports.

💡 Smarter Response Time calculation and formatting
Response times are now smarter:
- Response time is counted only while a card is “Open.” Example: a card is open for 1 hour, then closed and reopened a week later, with a reply 1 hour after reopening → response time is 2 hours (not 7 days).
- For threads with multiple incoming emails, it's measured from the first unanswered email to the reply. Example: 1st Email arrives at 9 AM, then a follow up at 10 AM; 1st reply sent at 11 AM → response time is 2 hours.
- Response times are now displayed in HH:MM:SS format in .csv downloads, making it easier to analyze and filter in Excel.

[v17.5] Save board as templates 🔥
🧩 Save existing boards as templates
You can now turn an existing board into a template, to be replicated in the future.
Simply click on the dropdown menu next to the board title and select the option 'Save board as template'.

💡 Create new boards from templates
Choose from ready-to-use templates to set up your boards instantly. Use a template as a starting point, then tweak tags, team members or automation rules to fit your exact needs.
To create a board from template, click the '+' icon next to your Drag boards section and select the option 'Create board from template'.
All the column set up, task cards (and their respective information), custom fields and other templates aspects will be automatically applied to the new board.

💬 New media types supported
Access new media types directly from your phone when receiving WhatsApp messages on your boards.
New media types include: documents, voice messages, photos, videos and gifs.

🫲 View which team member is replying to messages
For both Chrome Extension and mobile app, you can now view who is sending each WhatsApp message on your shared inbox.
Senders can only be seen internally by team members. They won't be displayed to the recipient.

From today, you can upload multiple media types to WhatsApp conversations from inside the Drag mobile app.
What's new?
This is what is available from Drag's mobile app from today:
💬 Upload photos and files
Upload and send photos, videos, gifs or documents to shared WhatsApp conversations right from Drag's mobile app.
All teams members will be able to view internally which team member sent each message.

🫲 Upload and send voice messages
Similarly, you can now not only receive, but also upload and send voice messages to WhatsApp shared conversations from your phone.
All teams members will be able to view which team member sent each voice message.

[v17.4] WhatsApp Shared Inbox from mobile app 🔥
From today, you can collaborate on WhatsApp conversations on the go, right from the Drag mobile app.
Since we launched Drag's WhatsApp channel, we knew that was going to become key, with more and more customers often working from their phones. Today, we are launching support for mobile app for all actions related to text messages. Support for other media types (files, photos, videos) to follow!
💬 One WhatsApp number, multiple agents (from their own phones!)
Visualize all WhatsApp conversations on Drag boards inside the Drag mobile app from your own phones.
View new conversations as they arrive in real time, track their status, categorize and organize them, know who is working on what, exactly the same way you manage shared emails.

🫲 Tap and hold to react to messages
Like in the Chrome Extension, you can now copy, reply or react to a message in a WhatsApp conversation. Just tap and hold the message until a dropdown opens with the options.
When selecting a reaction, it will appear next to the message you selected. Visualize reactions to your messages the same way.

🖇️ Collaborate internally on WhatsApp conversations on the go
Use the internal team chat to add comments or @mention a colleague if you need their help while replying to a conversation. Resolve things immediately without needing to go back to your computer.

Automations
[v17.3] New Automations
Today we are releasing new functionalities in Drag's automation rules.
🤜 New action: Mark as unread
From today, it is possible to create rules to automatically mark cards as unread when a specific trigger happens. Marking cards as unread automatically can be useful in a number of use cases especially when team members need to get back to specific conversations at a later stage.
To use this action, scroll down to the "Then..." section of automations, select the trigger "Gmail action" then the option "Mark as unread".

🤛 New condition: 'Contains all of' vs 'Contains any of'
Previously, Drag's conditions 'Subject, From and To' included only the option 'Contains', which could be ambiguous when users had multiple terms selected. In practical terms, it worked as a 'Contains all of' logic.
As of today, it is possible to chose between the logics 'Contains any of' OR 'Contains all of' which is particularly useful when members want automation rules to trigger for different terms.

🙌 New conditions 'subject', 'from' and 'to' for outbound emails
Previously, for the triggers involving outbound emails, 'New conversation (outbound) is created' and 'Outbound reply is sent', conditions were not available and the automations needed to trigger for any email.
From today, the same email conditions available to the other triggers (subject, from and to) are also available for outbound emails.

[v17.1] Workspace density + forward privately 🔥
Today we're releasing 2 highly requested features in Drag.
🎛️ Workspace density
You asked, we listened! Sometimes, emails of certain types have identical subject lines except for certain identifying information only displayed in the end (eg. email address, name, etc).
The way card titles are trunkated on Drag's default kanban or preview views disables users to quickly find important information in these situations.
That's why today we are introducing a personal user preference (which won't affect how other team members view boards) to define the density of their Drag workspaces.
Whereas the default options look exactly how your workspaces have always looked, the new "comfortable" option allows email contents to take up to 3 rows on a card, disclosing more information at a time.

↪️ Private forwarding
By default, when an email is shared on a Drag board, it will remain shared with all board members for as long as it is on that board.
This means that all emails exchanged on that thread, including replies or forwarded messages, will be available on the same card to all board members, regardless of whether those messages were sent to board members or not.
But, sometimes, certain sensitive conversations needs to continue in private. This is now possible with our forward privately feature.
This feature enables users to start a private conversation while still working within a shared inbox.

Assign conversations to team members for improved transparency and accountability. Leverage the internal team chat for internal messaging within the context of a specific WhatsApp conversation.

[v16.4] Automated follow ups on weekdays only and mobile collision detection
We're excited to announce important improvements to our email sequences and mobile app this week.
⛓️ Email sequence follow ups on weekdays only
Previously, it was only possible to schedule automated follow ups based on calendar days. From today, users have the option to only consider weekdays (Monday to Friday) when scheduling future follow up emails in a sequence.

📱 Collision detection on mobile app
Stop multiple users from replying to the same email at the same time, regardless of where they are. Our collision detection now works across our Chrome Extension and mobile app.

⚒️ Other minor fixes and improvements
We have also made some improvements requested by users, including:
- Fixed calendar headers not loading in the detail view of emails containing meeting invitations.
- Keep unread counts on personal inboxes (previously, those were hidden while Drag was installed).
- Freeze top bar while scrolling down in email threads, making it always accessible for users.
